Faculty Member, Jewish Philosophy
Ashkelon Academic College, Economics
About
In addition to my work in Bar-Ilan, I teach in Ashkelon Academic College two introductory courses (on Jewish Philosophy and Reasons for the Pentateuch Decrees).
I am also a fellow in in The Israel Democracy Institute and in The Ernest Schwartz Center for Ethics, Judaism and Democracy, Beit Morashah, Jerusalem (this year's program deals with the concept of Dis-Obedience in Jewish History and Thought, from the Bible, through Talmudic literature and up to modern ages).
I am rabbi of "Nezach Shlomo" congregation (Orthodox, Religious-Zionist) in Petach-Tikvah, Israel, and a former tutor at Yeshivat Hahesder Petach-Tikvah, a tertiary institute for Torah Studies (my major teaching areas were talmudic, biblical and philosophical aspects of the Jewish heritage).
