My research combines comparative historical sociology of knowledge and scientific expertise with the study of political organizations, political culture and public policy. I am particularly interested in detecting constitutive links between historical aspects of social scientific knowledge-making and those mundane practices and procedures of parliamentary work and modern governance that are not generally considered as having much to do with scientific practice.
